I am a filmmaker and aerial cinematographer with experience across multiple genres from dance films, to corporate films, music videos, narrative fiction and commercials.
Initially trained as Aeronautical Engineer, I received my B.F.A in Film from Emerson College in Boston and M.F.A in Film Production from the Miami International University of Art and Design. My work explores the surreal and has an affinity for the absurd. My films include Abstract Nature of Logic, Mars Kill Bird, Fuácata, El Niño, Playing with Light and Film, The Cow is Leaving and my most recent work, Biscayne Blues, a music short film about a poet (spoken word artist Oscar Fuentes) who falls in love with Lady Death.
I have collaborated with choreographers Pioneer Winter and Sandra Portal-Andreu, Grammy awardee Sammy Figueroa and theatre director Jose Manuel Dominguez. My work has been presented at Miami Theater Center, Bakehouse Art Complex, Adrienne Arsht Center and Miami Beach Cinemateque as part of Tigertail's ScreenDance Miami.
Some of my corporate clients include Sergio’s Restaurant, BTL Network, Equilibrium, Voices for Children and Miami-Dade County’s Department of Cultural Affairs.
I also teach Film, Editing and TV Production at Miami-Dade College and Florida Film Institute, and have conducted workshops at multiple Miami-Dade County Library branches.
